Childhope Announces Plans to Participate in This Year’s #GivingTuesday Movement

On November 28, 2023, Childhope Philippines Foundation will be participating in this year’s Giving Tuesday event. This worldwide movement is a Global Day of Generosity, which Childhope sincerely believes is an excellent opportunity to come together and make a meaningful impact on the lives of street children.

What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global movement that occurs on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving celebration in the United States. Established in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y in partnership with the United Nations Foundation, this movement was created in hopes to encourage people to give back to their communities and support charitable causes. This is all the more important since, given its date usually falling at the end of November, the holiday season is fast approaching.
