“The act of delivering hope”
Isang mapagpalang araw sa ating lahat! Ako po si Celina, at ako ay isang mag-aaral ng Gawaing Panlipunan o Social Work sa Unibersidad ng Pilipinas. Kasama ang aking mga kamag-aral sa CWTS, nais ko ring ibahagi ang aking mga karanasan sa pagiging isang volunteer sa loob ng mahigit tatlong buwan sa Childhope Philippines.
Una sa lahat, ninanais kong magpasalamat sa pagkakataong ibinigay sa amin ng Childhope Philippines upang maging volunteer at makapagsagawa ng tutorial at art session sa mga bata. Isa itong hindi malilimutang karanasan para sa akin at ang lahat ng aking mga natutunan ay paniguradong babaunin sa aking landas na tatatahakin sa pag-aaral ng Social Work.
Nang minsan may isang bata ang nakapagbahagi at nakapagsabi na “Walang hadlang sa pangarap”, marahil ako ay pinaalalahanan man din kung bakit nga ba ako narito sa kursong ito. Gayundin ng aking masaksihan ang ngiti at galak sa mga bata, ang mga ito ang mas nakapagpapa-alab pa ng aking pagnanais na magpatuloy para sa kanila. Gayunpaman, dahil sa mga karanasang ito, mas naging malinaw ang aking pagnanais na maging kasangkapan sa paghahatid ng pag-asa at pagbabago sa buhay ng mga bata
Ang pagiging volunteer sa Childhope Philippines ay isang napakagandang karanasan sa amin sapagkat hindi kailanman matatawaran ang pagsisilbi sa ating kapwa at paghahatid ng pag-asa lalo na sa mga bata.

My name is Celina, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Social Work at the esteemed University of the Philippines. Today, I wish to share my profound journey as a volunteer at Childhope Philippines, alongside my compassionate CWTS classmates.
First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Childhope Philippines for granting us the invaluable opportunity to volunteer and engage in tutorial and art sessions with the children. This experience has left an indelible mark on my heart, and I am certain that the wisdom I have gained will resonate throughout my future endeavors in the field of Social Work.
During my time at Childhope Philippines, a child once uttered the profound words, “There are no barriers to dreams,” which served as a poignant reminder of the purpose behind my chosen path. Witnessing the radiant smiles and sheer joy on the faces of these children only amplifies my commitment to their well-being. These transformative experiences have clarified my innermost desire to be an agent of hope and catalyst for positive change in the lives of these precious young souls.
To be a volunteer at Childhope Philippines is an awe-inspiring privilege, as it allows us to extend our heartfelt service to our fellow beings, particularly the vulnerable children. The act of delivering hope to those who need it most should never be underestimated, for it holds immeasurable significance in shaping a brighter tomorrow
